9125 days
9125 days here on earth… what have i accomplished so far?
this is the day that God brought me to this world. and for the past 9125 days… what have i done so far?
There are still ahandful of childhood memories that lie in the crevices of my brain. Some were good, the others are not. My earliest memory of me in this world was me trying to wear my own socks but I failed and fell over our sofa.. I remember how hard I cried not because i was in pain but it was because of shock and humiliation. I even remember the time we went home to our province and there were a lot of people trying to get on board so what my papa did was.. tinali nya ko in one big rope and somebody pulled me up. I remember my graduation day in kinder… my first crush was JR… our cutie neighbor… my first reyna elena in our province with the motorcade… the dance numbers in our fiesta.. the song numbers and skits at school.. my first medal in grade 4… my best friend in elementary was donn… through him I learned a lot about family and how important parents were… my enemies at school and being teased as geek… my graduation in grade 6 and how papa tried to put some make-up on me since mama was busy at school. my first "puppy love" was rey ryan… my first manliligaw was george and the first gift i recevied from him is a box of sergs chocolates.. days that me, debbie and leah used to exchange stationeries for collections.. hehehe
in high school, things were tough… its not easy to be the teacher’s daughter and at the same time be different from the rest. I was not chinese and I am studying in a chinese school… I remember my first infatuation was with my all time high school crush… Hector… I can even remember the nights and days I cired because of him and the songs I used to sing (yuck) hehehe… I remember the long afternoon practices for the drama club and the most memorable for me was the 50th anniversary at school. In high school my best friends were katrina, eduardo n charme and till now they are still one of my closest friends… Malling in SM centerpoint and ice skating in SM Megamall. my first boyfirned in high school was michael chua… then after a few months we broke up… then I met johnmark(my husband now)… naging kami rin pero honestly i just played games with him at that time… first serious boyfriend was lord ivy… i met him in church… relationship lasted almost a year…
College came… my school friends were eileen, ivannah and sheryl… I remember the hapiness i felt when i was accepted in st scholastica. at that time i was already active in stage acting and has found my talents in comedy. I can still remember the first award i won in an interschool competition in la salle and san beda… thanks to sir arnel torres.. and mga pag bubulakbol ko sa UPLB…
in college i had my longest relationship… with zherwin and its all memorable… ive had my a couple of firsts… it was also my first broken heart… my first travel outside the country… boquet of carnations… and ang feeling ng naagawan ng bf…
then i also went to st jude… i met tonette… ang traffic jam from dapitan to gatchalian.. ang church sa my st paul.. and bday celebration sa sala nila.. it was also memorable… esp her family… and trip sa boracay and last chirstmas together
i also went to iloilo to discover my self… ang sortlived relationship with kent… and patagong relasyon with dj bubitz… ang lov road trips with sheena, anton and dennis… and ang bday celebration ko dun with mark na naging dahilan sa una naming away…
ocotber 25… ang awar na napasagot ako ni mark.. kakaiba sha cause first time kong maligawan the probinshano way… ang walang sawa naming pagmomotor sa may tabing dagat at ang mga roadtrip sa gabi… hanggan sa he asked me to get marry.,.. a month after… kasal na namin =)
now eto na ako… a wife for 3 years… still no kids… but i now have a stable and high-paying job with a very loving husband…
so ano na nga bang na accomplish ko for 9125 days? well i learned a lot of things… and God has shown me his greatness… I know I have a good soul deep within.. I have the best parents who never failed to love and support me despite my weaknesses. I have a loving husband who takes good care of me and loves me with all of my flaws (and bilbils…) and I have a good heart…
I may not have all the wealth in the world.. but for 9125 days… God gave me wonderful and true friends… best parents… and best husband… ano pa nga bang hihingin ko?
birthday wish? wala na.. i couldn’t ask for anything more! =)
